Job summary

Volex in Singapore is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability testing for portable EV charging products. You will oversee certification programs, perform life-cycle testing, and coordinate third-party laboratories to support global commercialization.

The role requires 5–10 years in reliability engineering and hands-on experience with product compliance in automotive/electrical domains.

Qualifications

5-10 years reliability engineering experience.
Product compliance experience.

Responsibilities

Lead safety, regulatory compliance, reliability testing and certification activities for portable EV charging products.
Manage certification programs (UL 2594, UL 2231, IEC 61851, IEC 62752, SAE J1772, NACS).
Develop and execute HALT, HASS, life cycle testing, thermal cycling, drop testing, abuse testing.
Coordinate DVT and PVT phases; coordinate third-party laboratories; prepare technical documentation.
Support quality systems like DFMEA and reliability growth plans.
