What the role is:

Estate Manager (Resale Planning Section)

What you will be working on:

As an Estate Manager in the Resale Department’s Planning Section, your responsibilities include administering and reviewing systems and e-services to support operational efficiency and drive customer service excellence. You will need to extract data from mainframe systems, synthesise and analyse complex datasets, and prepare responses to internal and external stakeholders. You will also lead initiatives to evaluate and enhance existing systems to improve and streamline processes related to resale flat purchases, balancing policy, operations, and technical considerations. During your employment, you may also be rotated to take on the role of a Customer Relations Manager, to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership. You will be involved in assessing applicants’ eligibility to buy a new/resale HDB flat, receive CPF housing grants and take an HDB housing loan, providing guidance towards informed housing and prudent financing decisions or processing sales applications from registration of application to issuing of keys or resale transactions of HDB flats. You will assess and respond to appeals from customers who deviate from eligibility conditions, prepare case reports, and draft submissions for management's consideration of deserving cases. Your duties will include day-to-day liaison with appellants/flat applicants, solicitors and relevant agencies. Additionally, you will process Enhanced CPF Housing Grant applications from flat buyers and perform the role of Duty Manager at the counters, attending to cases escalated by Customer Relations Executives.

What we are looking for:

Candidates with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, good project management ability, and who can manage internal and external stakeholders effectively. Candidates should be able to work independently, and as part of a team, possess a customer‑centric mindset and have strong integrity. Knowledge and experience with data analysis, programming (e.g. R, Python, SAS) and/or mainframe systems is a plus. Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
