Job summary

SGS INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION SERVICES SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a qualified professional to drive ESG and sustainability services growth in Singapore. You will support the ESG Sales team, promote services, and help develop new products and market opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a sustainability-related field with at least 2 years of ESG experience, plus familiarity with key standards. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Chemical/Electrical Engineering or related sustainability discipline, with minimum 2 years’ ESG experience.
• Experience in assurance/verification services at reasonable/limited level of assurance.
• Auditor and/or trainer in sustainability standards (ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, NEA CPA, SRA) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GRI, ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, CSRD, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, NEA CPA regulation and related standards.
• Experience in Sustainability Reporting and Green Finance is an advantage.
• Experience in working with corporate clients is an advantage.
• Strong research, literature reviews, benchmarking, and data analysis skills.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry compliance requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with meticulous attention to auditing/consulting.
• Dynamic, autonomous and team-oriented with high initiative.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Able to interact with all levels of management, suppliers and clients.
• Strong project planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for growing the business and delivering ESG and Sustainability-related services.
• Support the ESG Sales team in promoting and marketing services to drive revenue growth.
• Deliver Sustainability, ESG, Green Finance and Carbon/Climate-change related services with timely, high-quality delivery.
• Support the Technical Manager and ESG Sales team in marketing activities to drive revenue growth.
• Support development of new products, certification services, and market opportunities.
• Engage in periodic technical and qualification development to align with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on ESG, Sustainability, and Green Finance trends in Singapore and the region.
