Job description

GreenFi is seeking an experienced ESG Manager to lead sustainability and ESG initiatives for our clients and internal operations. This role combines deep ESG expertise, strategic thinking, and client engagement, ensuring organizations achieve their climate, sustainability, and regulatory goals.

The ESG Manager will work closely with clients, internal teams, and industry partners to design, implement, and monitor ESG programs, ensuring compliance with global frameworks while driving measurable impact. This role also serves as a primary client advisor for ESG strategy, reporting, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • ESG Strategy Development: Lead the design and implementation of ESG strategies for clients and internal initiatives, aligned with global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, IFRS S1/S2, and BRSR.
  • Client Engagement & Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their ESG goals and challenges, providing guidance, best practices, and strategic recommendations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor ESG-related regulations and reporting requirements, ensuring clients remain compliant across geographies.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG data across multiple business units or client portfolios.
  • Reporting & Disclosures: Prepare ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (product, data, AI, and operations) and client teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategy and decision-making.
  • Training & Capacity Building: Develop and deliver ESG training programs for clients and internal teams to enhance ESG knowledge and capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance ESG processes, tools, and reporting methodologies using AI-driven solutions and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility experience
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, regulations, and reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, IFRS S1/S2, BRSR, etc.)
  • Experience with ESG data management, reporting software, and analytics tools
  • Proven client engagement or account advisory experience, ideally supporting mid-market or enterprise organizations
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with AI and technology-driven ESG solutions is a plus
