Job Description

We are looking for a driven ESG Business Development Associate to support the expansion of ESGpedia across Southeast Asia (SEA).

Ideal For
  • Candidates with strong interest or knowledge in ESG reporting, sustainability, or carbon accounting, OR
  • Candidates with proven experience in B2B sales within the SEA region

You will play a key role in building our client pipeline, engaging sustainability‑focused stakeholders, and supporting organisations on their ESG journeys.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, follow‑ups, and closing.
  • Present ESGpedia’s platform, tools, and reporting capabilities clearly to clients.
  • Understand clients’ ESG or sustainability needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sustainability teams, decision‑makers, and partners.
  • Support proposals, RFP responses, and client meetings across Southeast Asia.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure client success.
  • Represent ESGpedia at client meetings, webinars, and industry events.
  • Achieve sales KPIs and contribute to the growth of the ESGpedia ecosystem.
Ideal Candidate
  • Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or carbon accounting roles OR
  • Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or other client‑facial commercial roles
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to clients
  • Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable managing outreach, pipelines, and client engagements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with CRM tools is a plus
