Role Overview
As an Ergonomics Sales Specialist at Ergoworks, you will be responsible for the effective operation of our retail concept store, ensuring an exceptional in-store experience for customers, and meeting monthly sales targets. You will also support corporate and walk‑in clients with ergonomic product promotions, inquiries, and after‑sales services.
Key Responsibilities
- Retail Store Operations: Oversee the daily management of the retail showroom, ensuring smooth operations and an engaging customer experience.
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Drive sales of ergonomic products to walk‑in customers and corporate clients, providing expert advice and product knowledge.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, manage the POS system, process payments, and handle cash float.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate in‑store inventory records, liaise with the back‑end office to ensure seamless stock management.
- After‑Sales Support: Handle customer feedback, conduct satisfaction surveys, and follow up on after‑sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting & Records: Maintain accurate daily sales logs and performance reports.
- Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is well‑maintained and visually appealing through regular housekeeping and upkeep.
- Ad‑Hoc Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the store.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma in any relevant field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in ergonomic or related products.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to drive sales and consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and addressing customer needs.
- Demonstrated success in sales through effective product promotion and upselling.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate sales records.
- Proficient in operating retail operating systems, processing payments, and managing cash.
- Results‑oriented with a proactive attitude towards sales and customer engagement.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic retail environment.
