Job summary

OCBC Group is offering an Equity Research Internship in Singapore, providing hands-on exposure to company analysis, financial modelling, and market research alongside experienced professionals.

You will develop analytical, valuation, and communication skills while supporting research efforts and learning how independent equity research informs investment decisions within a leading financial institution.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with financial statements and financial analysis.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Company Research: conduct research and analysis on listed companies, evaluating business performance, financial results, competitive positioning, and growth prospects.
• Industry Analysis: monitor industry developments, market trends, and economic factors that impact sectors and investment opportunities.
• Financial Modelling: assist in building, maintaining, and updating financial models to support company valuations and investment recommendations.
• Market Intelligence: gather and analyse information from company announcements, earnings releases, industry reports, and market developments.
• Investment Research Support: contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, investment notes, and market commentaries.
• Fundamental & Technical Analysis: support research initiatives through both fundamental company analysis and market trend assessment.
• External Engagement: attend investor meetings, earnings briefings, industry conferences, and other market events to gain firsthand insights into companies and sectors.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: support the delivery of research insights to Global Markets, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Securities, and other internal stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on thematic research projects, sector studies, and other research initiatives as assigned.
