Job summary

Job Description
  • Receive, review, and process warranty claims for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Monitor warranty periods to ensure claims are submitted and followed up on time.
  • Maintain detailed records of claims, repair status, resolutions, costs, and recoveries.
  • Coordinate with customers and contractors to address and resolve warranty issues.
  • Generate reports on warranty trends, costs, and supplier performance.
  • Lead or support on-site investigations and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and vendors to diagnose and correct defects.
  • Schedule vendor site visits and manage procedures like site access and permits.
  • Support cost recovery negotiations and ensure compliance with warranty terms.
  • Identify issues in warranty processes, analyze data, and suggest improvements.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, commissioning, warranty, maintenance, or reliability engineering—ideally in process plants or power generation.
  • Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems.
  • Experience in GTCC or OCGT power plants is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Familiar with RCA tools like 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Maximo).
  • Strong project management, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be proactive, results-driven, and willing to work at various sites on Jurong Island.
