Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to lead the maintenance and operation of equipment in our semiconductor production facility, focusing on Plating, Wet Clean, AOI, and Ball Repair/Reflow/Mount departments. The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain equipment in Plating, Wet Clean, AOI, and Ball Repair/Reflow/Mount departments
- Supervise a team of 6 Equipment Owners and 18 Line Engineers and Technicians to ensure equipment is properly operated and maintained
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, and standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Work with vendors to procure equipment, spare parts, and services, and manage vendor relationships
- Follow up on new tool setup projects, ensuring timely completion and successful integration
- Manage asset management programs, including inventory control and asset tracking
- Participate in company audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, with a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment management or maintenance supervision in a semiconductor environment
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting, as well as semiconductor-specific equipment and processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and project management skills
