Job summary

An engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to maintain plant equipment and solve electrical and mechanical issues. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/NITEC in Engineering and a strong understanding of electrical circuits. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machines, and collaborating with vendors. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge required in electrical circuits, controls, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to perform shift duties.

Job description

Job responsibilities

• Attend and address all electrical and mechanical problems related to plant equipment effectively and efficiently
• Carry out routine preventive and predictive maintenance activities with compliance to required standards
• Establish equipment normal operating parameters and perform preventive maintenance according to the schedule
• Perform calibration of transducers and signal transmitters according to standard operations
• Work with Engineering team for timely completion of modification/upgrading/set-up of machines
• Liaise with equipment vendors for technical matters and spare parts

Job Requirements

• Diploma / NITEC in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) or equivalent
• Knowledge on troubleshooting Wire bond machine
• Strong technical knowledge is required in electrical circuits/ controls / pneumatic diagrams
• Able to use electrical measuring instruments and perform calibration
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to perform shift duties
