Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee equipment installation projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in construction, a bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with clients. This position is based in Jurong Island and requires the ability to work under pressure and efficiently allocate resources.

Qualifications

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Oversee and manage the design and construction of power station Equipment Installation engineering projects;
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner;
• Manage a team of Equipment Installation, ensuring that project milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets;
• Coordinate with engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution;
• Review and analyze the design effectiveness and structural reliability of major projects;
• Approve cost reports, equipment records, engineering reports, and project construction schedules;
• Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are strictly observed;
• Prepare budgets and schedules, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently;
• Monitor work progress and ensure a project is on track and within budget;
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns, ensuring they are well-informed;
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, and Maintain accurate records of project documentation and progress;
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth;
• Work closely with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements

• Must possess min 2 years of Equipment & pipeline Installation construction experience (Experience in power station installation construction preferred);
• Good education with Bachelor degree or above;
• Familiar with power market and related regulations in Singapore;
• Be able to work under pressure and agree work overtime;
• Strong presentation skills, written and oral and strong communication skills;
• Good time management and planning skills;
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently.
