Responsibilities
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and enhance equipment performance to achieve uptime, output, yield, quality, and cost targets.
- Take full accountability for assigned equipment and maximize resource utilization for high efficiency and productivity.
- Drive equipment fault investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve chronic issues and implement solutions for product quality and process robustness.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, enforce adherence to work instructions, and ensure effective execution of preventive maintenance and calibration.
- Guide and train technicians in equipment troubleshooting and analysis to build technical competency and self-sufficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor services, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Establish, review, and regularly update preventive maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Develop technical specifications for new and transferred equipment, and execute equipment move-in, installation, setup, and buy-off within set timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor process technology and wafer fab equipment.
- Proficiency in statistical and quality tools will be an advantage.
