Job summary

NHG Health is seeking an Epidemiologist to design, conduct, analyze, and publish clinical research across diverse specialties. You will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and advance medical knowledge.

You will provide methodological consultation throughout the lifecycle, develop SAPs, perform analyses, and contribute to reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations. Fresh graduates with advanced degrees are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or Statistics.
  • Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, or Statistics.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as STATA, R, Python, SAS, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, researchers, and various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with health economics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clinician and allied health Principal Investigators to design high-quality clinical research studies.
  • Provide methodological consultation throughout the research lifecycle, including research question development, study design, and protocol development.
  • Develop statistical analysis plan (SAP) and perform statistical analyses using appropriate analytical techniques.
  • Develop study report, contribute to scientific manuscript, conference abstract, posters and presentations for publication and dissemination.
  • Support principal investigators in preparing ethics application, regulatory submissions, grant proposals, and funding applications.
  • Deliver training and workshops on clinical research methodology and statistical software for clinicians, researchers and allied health professionals.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians and study coordinators.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of department including administrative duties.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve work process to enhance quality and operational efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
