UL Solutions Singapore is seeking a seasoned ESHS specialist to conduct environmental and social due diligence for renewables and infrastructure projects. You will review permits, risk assessments, management plans, and local regulations, and provide clear recommendations to improve ESHS performance while supporting lenders and developers.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant ESHS experience, strong analytical and communication skills in English, and willingness to travel to project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant ESHS experience in renewables, power, infra, or construction.
• Experience conducting construction E&S monitoring and site safety inspections.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Review project documents, permits and ESHS management plans against international standards.
• Conduct ESDD against GIIP, including IFC standards and World Bank guidelines.
• Assess risks and prepare ESHS input for due diligence and monitoring reports.
• Review compliance with local ESHS laws and permit conditions.
• Assess biodiversity, climate and social risks such as cultural heritage and resettlement.
• Evaluate contractor ESHS management systems and key controls.
• Monitor ESHS performance during construction and operation.
• Provide practical recommendations to reduce risk exposure.
• Coordinate with developers, lenders, EPCs, site owners and authorities.
