Job summary

AECOM Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an Environmental Specialist to support the delivery of EIA, EBS, and EMMP in line with regulatory requirements.

You will prepare monitoring plans, coordinate field activities, and liaise with clients and authorities to ensure compliance. The role requires a degree in environmental science or related field, at least two years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Excel, GIS, and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in environmental management.
• Experience with environmental monitoring techniques (soil, water, air, noise, biodiversity).
• Familiarity with EIA, EMMP, and EBS processes.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, GIS, or statistical software).
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and coordinate field activities.
• Budgeting and cost estimation skills for environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Support in the delivery of EIA, EBS, and EMMP.
• Prepare/update EMMP requirements, monitoring programmes, and specs.
• Plan and conduct environmental monitoring (terrestrial ecology, water quality, air quality, noise).
• Review data to identify trends and mitigation needs.
• Assess compliance with permits and requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and monitoring documentation.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Support the Project Manager in planning, scope, budget, and risks.
• Assist proposals and project schedules for EIA, EBS, EMMP.
