Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is urgently seeking a Safety Technician for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will conduct EHS inspections and training, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering is required, along with knowledge of EHS programs and the semiconductor process. Position: Safety Technician (12 months Contract, Renewable)

Venue: Bendemeer

Working Hours: Normal Working Hours

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and audits in line with established EHS standards and regulations.
  • Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Collect, analyze, and report environmental and safety data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHS training programs.
  • Monitor waste management operations in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Implement emergency procedures, conduct drills, and maintain safety records.
  • Manage storage areas, consumables, and personal protective equipment.
  • Assist with testing, calibration, and maintenance of EHS monitoring equipment.
  • Conduct employee training.
  • Evaluates new equipment and materials for safety.
  • Risk Management and Risk Assessment Review
Requirements
  • Diploma / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent fields.
  • Knowledge in EHS programs and systems is preferred
  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
  • Knowledge in Semiconductor process is preferred
