Job summary

Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore seeks an environmental analyst to conduct routine and non-routine analyses, including habitat water sampling, soil, rainwater, run-off microbiology, and air quality monitoring, while maintaining lab equipment and reporting results.

Responsibilities include inventory reporting, supporting clinical diagnostic lab work and medication preparation, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Windows-based MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with basic laboratory instrumentation and operations.
• Ability to perform all analyses and report data accurately.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out habitats water sample collection and routine/non-routine water quality analysis, soil, run-off and rainwater microbiology.
• Perform daily physicochemical analyses on water samples from the habitats.
• Collect soil, rain and run-off samples for physicochemical and microbiology analyses.
• Conduct air quality analyses under varying weather conditions (e.g., haze).
• Maintain laboratory equipment, fixtures, glassware and general lab ware to manufacturer specs.
• Assist in preparing monthly inventory reports on supplies and reagents.
• Prepare and report results accurately and promptly to relevant team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
