Job summary

A leading construction firm based in Singapore is seeking a Certified Environmental Control Officer. The role requires implementing and monitoring environmental control measures in compliance with regulations, conducting daily site inspections, and preparing reports. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Environmental, Building, or Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in HDB construction projects. Good communication skills and knowledge of waste management are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with a valid NEA certificate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HDB construction projects.
• Knowledge of waste management and vector control.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental control measures according to regulations.
• Conduct daily site inspections for compliance and housekeeping.
• Prepare ECO inspection reports and follow up on actions.

Skills

Job description

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor environmental control measures in line with NEA, BCA, and HDB requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure proper housekeeping, silt control, and waste management.
• Coordinate with RE/RTO and site team to resolve non-compliance promptly.
• Oversee vector control and mosquito prevention programs.
• Prepare ECO inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Liaise with authorities NEA, PUB, HDB during audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with valid NEA certificate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HDB construction projects.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, and vector control.
• Able to conduct site checks independently and prepare reports accurately.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Diploma in Environmental, Building or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Possession of CSOC is an advantage.
