Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Environment Control Officer (ECO) to uphold environmental health standards at its high-rise construction sites. The successful candidate will conduct site inspections, supervise safety measures, and address any irregularities. Candidates should be registered ECOs with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Registered ECO with at least 2 to 4 years of experience in construction.
  • Experience in Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects is preferred.
  • Possession of other WSH competencies certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections for environmental health maintenance.
  • Supervise safety measures compliance with MOM regulations.
  • Function as the point of contact for site irregularities.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Environment Control Officer (ECO) to join our site management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental health standards are upheld at our high-rise greenfield construction sites.

Requirements
  • Registered ECO in accordance to NEA requirement
  • At least 2 to 4 years experience, preferably in Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects
  • Candidates possessing other WSH competencies certification with relevant construction experience will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly motivated and good team player
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
  • Preferably possess own transport
Job Duties
  • Regular inspection on the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environment health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard.
  • Supervise workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations.
  • Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly.
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by superior.
