Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking an Environmental/Chemical Engineering Technician to oversee daily operations related to waste management and chemical safety. The ideal candidate will have a NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related fields, experience with ISO 14001, and a forklift license is a plus. This role involves monitoring production processes, managing chemical disposal, and participating in conservation projects.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related disciplines essential.
• Good to have forklift license.
• Strong knowledge in ISO 14001 EMS, lab analysis, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Daily receiving and issuing activities requiring forklift operation.
• Monitor production water consumption and waste water generation.
• Oversee operation of precious metals recovery systems.
• Track and update Chemical Safety Data sheets.
• Manage chemical transfer and waste disposal.
• Assist with GHS implementation and maintenance.
• Participate in energy and water conservation projects.
