Responsibilities
  • Ensure Micron's safety programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and conform to the Management System and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement functional, cost-effective solutions for safety issues.
  • Coordinate, manage, and conduct safety walks, inspections, and audits to ensure operations comply with Micron safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and recommend preventive/corrective actions.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate safety-related metrics and performance measurements.
  • Support the ISO System by participating in internal audits to continuously improve the safety program and procedures.
  • Identify, develop, and provide safety training in accordance with company goals and objectives.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field such as Engineering.
  • Safety and health certifications are preferred (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, ISO auditor training and certification).
  • Experience with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
