Job summary

A local carpentry firm in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the QS manager, prepare cost estimates, and manage procurement of materials. The ideal candidate should have experience in renovation or be keen to learn about the carpentry trade. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin are essential. This full-time position offers a salary ranging from S$2,500 to S$3,500, and candidates will work 5.5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in renovation/interior design is preferred.
• Open to candidates keen to learn carpentry trade.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read drawings for tender.

Responsibilities

• Support the QS manager.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and bills of quantities.
• Prepare tender and contract documents for the tendering process.
• Submit monthly progress payment requests to clients.
• Procure necessary materials for operations.
• Receive materials at the factory.
• Prepare samples and coordinate with suppliers.
• Handle ad hoc admin tasks as required.

Skills
