Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is hiring a part-time Basic Care Assistant for a 3-month contract at Novena. Shifts run [AM shift], 9am to 12pm, with a requirement of a minimum 5 days per week and up to 6 days depending on scheduling. Salary is $11/hour.

The role involves patient hygiene support, feeding assistance, mobility assistance, and ensuring safety with infection-control practices in daily tasks. Training is provided, and no prior patient-care experience is required.

Qualifications

• No prior patient care experience required.
• Minimum qualifications: PSLE or WPLN.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend to hygiene needs of patients who require assistance or are bedbound.
• Oral feed patients who require assistance with oral feeding.
• Assist with lifting, moving and transporting of patients.
• Ensure patients safety and facilitate social-emotional support through suitable activities.
• Comply with infection control practices when attending to patients.
• Performs other duties assigned by nurse manager.
