Job summary

A leading cybersecurity solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Security Engineer to assist in day-to-day operations of cybersecurity solutions. Responsibilities include providing support for security platforms, managing incident ticket queues, and performing change requests. Ideal candidates should have a Diploma or Degree and hands-on engineering support experience in Infrastructure, Network, or Security Tools. Remote support capabilities are required.

Qualifications

  • Possess hands-on engineering support experience in Infrastructure, Network and/or Security Tools.
  • Able to work independently, under the general guidance.
  • Can provide remote support after office hours and during weekend/public holiday as required.

Job description

As a Security Engineer in Cyber section managed support and operations, you will assist in day-to-day support and operations of assigned cybersecurity solutions and platforms.

Work Hours: Office hours, with occasional remote standby duties which is rotational (i.e., remain contactable by email and phone)

What you will do:
  • Provide support for assigned security platforms, including onsite troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident reporting.
  • Manage ticket queue and take ownership and responsibility of tickets assigned within agreed SLA.
  • Perform change requests activities per change window allocated, including planning, review, tracking & verification and documentation.
  • Ensure that daily operations and tasks are properly completed or followed up.
  • Escalate issues and liaise with subject matter experts as required to resolve issues.
  • Prepare activities report and documentation.
About You:
  • Completed studies with a Diploma or Degree
  • Possess hands‑on engineering support experience in Infrastructure, Network and/or Security Tools
  • Able to work independently, under the general guidance
  • Can provide remote support after office hours and during weekend/public holiday as required
