Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced backend/integration engineer to connect enterprise systems across training platforms, analytics, and workflow solutions.

You will design and implement APIs, middleware, and connectors, and help modernise legacy apps toward cloud-enabled architectures while ensuring security and governance across the stack. Collaboration with stakeholders and thorough technical documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend development in at least one listed language.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security and identity management; enterprise patterns.

Responsibilities

• Integrate enterprise systems across training, analytics, and workflow platforms.
• Design, develop and maintain APIs and connectors for interoperability.
• Build full-stack applications across web UI, backend services and databases.
• Modernise legacy applications toward cloud-enabled architectures.
• Support onboarding, deployment, and sustainment in enterprise cloud environments.
• Design and implement authentication, access control, security and governance.
• Sustain applications via troubleshooting, performance tuning and enhancements.
• Prepare architecture artefacts and integration guides.
• Onboard and integrate externally developed products into ecosystems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable tech solutions.
