Job summary

Maker Lab, a marketing agency building decentralised technology-led teams, seeks an AI Lead to scale Applied AI, Generative AI and agentic solutions across JAPAC. This role will turn AI innovation into enterprise-ready systems that streamline operations and improve decision making for clients and internal teams.

The position requires deep expertise in Python, BigQuery, LLMs, and governance, with a track record deploying GenAI pipelines at scale and influencing executive strategy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of combined experience across Data Science, BI Transformation, and Enterprise AI Strategy.
• 5+ years driving regional programs across JAPAC.
• Production AI delivery: GenAI/LLM pipelines, multi-agent frameworks, or automated decision intelligence platforms.
• Executive influence: advisor to senior leadership, shaping OKRs and GTM roadmaps.
• Cloud & technical stack: Python, SQL, BigQuery, ML libraries (XGBoost, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow), and Cloud (GCP).
• GenAI & Agentic Systems: LLM fine-tuning, RAG, prompt orchestration, Agentic tool-use, Gemini Pro ecosystem.
• Decision Modelling & Architecture: scenario planning engines, econometric forecasting, SHAP explainability, data lineage, CRM/ERP integration, BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• AI Incubation & 0-to-1 Architecture: lead charter, design, prototypes of Agentic AI workflows and HITL platforms.
• Executive Advisory & Problem Scoping: partner with regional leaders to translate bottlenecks into AI initiatives.
• Revenue & Predictive Intelligence: architect multi-stage predictive systems for prescriptive targeting.
• AI Engineering, Governance & Scalability: establish enterprise-grade standards for observability, evaluation, data lineage, and governance.
• Incubator Operations & Ecosystem Acceleration: manage intake and sprint velocity, mentor staff, promote AI literacy.
