- Answers phone and/or email queries from patients.
- Makes appointments for outpatients and inpatients admission, ultrasound, injections, blood samples and consultation.
- Dispensing medications to patients according to doctor’s prescription.
- Blood taking, Vaccination and ensure proper documentation.
- Labelling of blood, e.g. hormone assays and viral studies and ensures correct labeling of blood specimens accompanied by request forms.
- Operate and monitor CTG machine (if applicable in clinic).
- Prepare instruments for procedure, assists doctor, and cleans after procedures.
- Assist in chaperone duties where necessary
- Issues bills and collects payments from or refund patients for abandoned treatment.
- Attends to customer feedback (received verbally, through letters or email) expeditiously, communicate and work with doctor and Operations team on improvements.
- Maintains and updates according to MOH standard guidelines on identification, filing, maintenance and disposition of these records where applicable and not limited to keeping records of all financial counselling for MOH review upon their request.
- Updating of patient’s estimate delivery date (EDD) and Delivery Date after patient complete their inpatient stay (DS).
- Provides feedback to Operations team about the purchase of products and services supplied by vendors to assist in vendor evaluations.
- Maintains and highlights to Operations team on any feedback and issues on medical equipment.
- Maintains and updates stock records for medications stored within the clinic.
- Submission of Mediclaim
- Submission of Medical Record to Governance body (eg. NIR).
- Follow up on Insurance submission with TPA (eg. MHC, Alliance, Adept, NTUC, AIA etc) as well as payment with Finance
- Updating of Doctor's appointment with calendar
- Any other relevant clinic support duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC in Nursing (or equivalent) and has Practicing Certificate (Enrolled Nurse)
- At least 1 year of related working experience with Obstetrics and Gynecology in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cancer and treatment: Understanding the basics of cancer, its stages and common treatments will be an added advantage.
- Preferably with Phlebotomy, BCLS/AED Certifications
- Able and willing to work 5.5 days per week
