Job summary

A leading healthcare company in Singapore is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist doctors with treatment and nursing procedures. Responsibilities include preparing instruments, dispensing medications, and maintaining quality records. Candidates with at least 1 year of similar experience are preferred. This role demands a 5.5 days work week and an immediate starter is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or with Medical or Clinical setup is advantageous.
• Able to work 5.5 days work week.
• Immediate starter is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor and carry out treatment and nursing procedures for patients.
• Dispense medications according to doctors’ prescriptions.
• Maintain and update the quality records according to the standard guidelines.

Job description

• Assist doctor and carry out treatment and nursing procedures for patients
• Submit the Medisave applications.
• Ensure the consultation and procedure rooms are in order and check that all equipment and supplies are available and ready for use.
• Prepare instruments for procedures (if any), assist doctor and clean procedure room after procedures.
• Dispense medications according to doctors’ prescriptions.
• Answer phone calls and handle enquiries.
• Maintain and update the quality records according to the standard guidelines on identification, filing, storage, maintenance and disposition of these records where applicable.
• Perform any other nursing and administrative related job scope.

Requirements

• Atleast 1 year of experience in a similar role or with Medical or Clinical set up is advantageous.
• Able to work 5.5 days work week
• Immediate starter is preferred
