Roles & Responsibilities

This position is a maternity cover from January to May or June.

The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to :

  • Provide direct patient care and chaperone doctor, which include supporting in-room procedures
  • Front counter responsibilities include patient registration, appointment scheduling, phone call inquiries, crowd control, etc.
  • Booking of appointments in the system such as follow-ups and corporate health screening.
  • Able to provide financial counseling.
  • Follow up with doctors or clinic staff on completing the information required.
  • Alert and rectify duplicate patients’ records in the system.
  • Assist in dispensing medication when required.
  • Assist in training and guiding new and junior staff.
  • Handle billing and collection of payments (cash, NETS, credit cards, cheques) with integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform daily closing of collections and alert superiors on discrepancies if any.
  • Handle any other administrative duties when required.
Requirements
  • Has 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry (Experience working in a GP clinic is a bonus)
  • Experience in clinical duties such as taking blood samples, reading vital signs, etc. will be advantageous.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy
  • Good interpersonal skills, a good team player, and good time management skills.
  • Willing to learn and the ability to adapt are key attributes for this role.
