Job summary

National Heart Centre of Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Enrolled Nurse (Inpatient) to join its cardiothoracic surgery wards, ICU, CCU or Cardiac Catheterisation labs. You will work shifts across wards, ICU, CCU and be on-call for the catheterisation/imaging labs as rostered.

Applicants should be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board; those without experience may train. Cardiac patient experience is an advantage; vaccination proof as required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Nurse or a Nursing qualification that can be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Experience in working with cardiac patients will be an advantage
• Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided
• Documented proof of Measles vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and Diphtheria vaccination within last 10 years as required for healthcare workers

Responsibilities

• Work in Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/ICU, Cardiology wards/CCU or Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories
• Must be prepared to be on call according to roster for Cath Lab/Imaging Laboratories

You will have opportunities to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiology wards/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) or Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories. You are required to work shifts for the position in the wards, ICU and CCU. For positions at the Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories, you must be prepared to be on call according to roster.

Job Requirements

• Enrolled Nurse or a Nursing qualification that can be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board

  • i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022.
