Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards, ICU, and CCU. Applicants should be prepared for shift work and on-call duties. Candidates with nursing qualifications registered with the Singapore Nursing Board are invited to apply, with experience in cardiac care considered an advantage. Training will be provided for inexperienced applicants.

  • Experience with cardiac patients is an advantage.
  • Training provided for applicants without relevant experience.

Job description

You will have opportunities to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiology wards/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) or Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories. You are required to work shifts for the position in the wards, ICU and CCU. For positions at the Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories, you must be prepared to be on call according to roster.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled Nurse or a Nursing qualification that can be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
  • Experience in working with cardiac patients will be an advantage
  • Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided
  • Documented proof of:
    • i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
    • ii. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
  • We regret that only applicants who have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19 (according to MOH’s definitions) will be considered due to exposure risk
