Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking Enrolled Nurses to work in various wards including Cardiology and ICU. Candidates should possess a nursing qualification registered with the Singapore Nursing Board. Experience with cardiac patients is a plus, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided. Applicants must also show proof of vaccinations, including Covid-19, per healthcare regulations. This position entails shift work and potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cardiac patients is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates should be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

Responsibilities

  • Work in various wards including Cardiothoracic Surgery and ICU.
  • Be on call as per roster for Imaging Laboratories positions.
  • Provide care to cardiac patients during shifts.

Job description

You will have opportunities to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiology wards/Coronary Care Unit (CCU) or Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories. You are required to work shifts for the position in the wards, ICU and CCU. For positions at the Cardiac Catheterisation/Imaging Laboratories, you must be prepared to be on call according to roster.

Job Requirements
  • Enrolled Nurse or a Nursing qualification that can be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
  • Experience in working with cardiac patients will be an advantage
  • Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided
  • Documented proof of:
    • i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
    • ii. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
