Who We Need

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centered and compassionate nursing care to individuals in our Diagnotic Imaging Department.

  • Provides safe and fast portering of patients to the department by means of wheelchair, trolley or bed.
  • Helps in the transfer of patients to the x-ray couch and prepare them for examinations.
  • Assists the radiologist/radiographers in radiological/radiographic procedures.
  • Assists in Newborn Hearing screening and ECG.
  • Provides patient care to the patients while they are at the department. This may entail the giving of bed pans and urinals.
  • Assists in the reception counter during peak/busy periods.
  • Helps in darkroom duties/ processing when required.
  • Undertakes other duties and tasks when requested by the manager.
How to Succeed
  • Possess NITEC in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
  • Previous experience in acute care hospital, especially in radiology department is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to listen actively and empathetically
  • Patience and emotional resilience, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
  • Available for emergency calls (on-call) if needed.
  • 5.5 Days work week (Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm, Satuday half day)
