  • Implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lessons.
  • Promoting social, emotional, and intellectual development through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive methods.
  • Assisting children with developing basic skills such as counting, letter recognition, and fine motor skills.
  • Observing and evaluating children’s behavior, progress, and learning abilities.
  • Collaborating with parents or guardians to address any concerns or provide updates on their child’s development.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
  • Ensuring the well‑being and safety of all children in their care.
  • Guiding children in developing good habits, such as hygiene, sharing, and following routines.
  • Providing positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support to promote self‑esteem and confidence.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and staff members in order to maintain a healthy working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: diploma in early childhood.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with young children, in preschool setting, is preferred.
  • Patience and Communication Skills: communicate clearly and engage children in a positive manner, also be able to communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
  • Creativity and Flexibility: possess creativity to design engaging and stimulating activities for children, flexible in adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs.
  • Organization and Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills for managing a classroom and planning educational activities; create and follow schedules, maintain records, and manage resources effectively.
  • Physical Stamina: physically fit and have the stamina to actively engage with children throughout the day.
