Responsibilities
  • Working with the English Curriculum to lead, coach and manage the preschool curriculum team of both full-time curriculum specialists and part-time teacher consultants.
  • Responsible for the design, development and production of high quality lesson materials for the Preschool English programmes at The Company that meet business needs and timelines.
  1. Envisioning, planning and designing of the curriculum, as part of the senior curriculum team, to ensure alignment with The Company teaching and learning model and ECDA requirements.
  2. Implementing the curriculum design through preparation of schemes of work and lesson schedules.
  3. Developing, writing, and editing lesson materials and teacher guides, which will include conducting research, sourcing for materials and designing engaging learning activities.
  4. Designing and developing assessment activities that are aligned with The Company's teaching and learning model.
  5. Providing training and briefings as support for teachers to be able to use the curriculum materials effectively.
  6. Reviewing and revising curriculum to maintain quality and a competitive edge.
Qualifications
  • Has experience in preschool education setting, preferably in a leadership and curriculum capacity.
  • Good working knowledge of the English lanaguage teachings.
  • Creative, dynamic, innovative, and excited to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Flexible and able to manage change and ambiguity well.
  • Careful, meticulous and has an eye for detail.
  • Embraces the need for administrative work as part of managerial and curriculum work.
  • Well‑organised in terms of time and tasks, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent language skills, with a love for reading and writing.
  • Leader, team player, with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
