Job Description
  • Small Group Instruction: Lead or supervise small groups of students for focused lessons, remedial work, or enrichment activities planned by the lead teacher.
  • One-on-One Assistance: Provide individualized support to students who need extra help understanding a concept or completing an assignment.
  • Reinforcing Lessons: Re-teach or explain concepts from the lead teacher's lesson in a different way to struggling learners.
  • Facilitating Activities: Circulate around the classroom during independent or group work to answer questions, provide guidance, and keep students on task.
  • Preparing Materials: Help set up materials for lessons, activities (e.g., cutting, sorting, photocopying, organizing kits).
  • Safety: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students at all times.
  • Grading: Grade objective homework, quizzes, and assignments based on answer keys provided by the lead teacher.
  • Classroom Organization: Help keep the classroom, supplies, and learning centers tidy and organized.
Requirements
