Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking an early childhood educator for a basic salary of SGD 3,500–4,500 per month.

The role is based at islandwide preschool locations, with a 5-day, 44-hour work week. Qualifications

• Diploma in Preschool Teaching (DPT) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or relevant certification).
• Entry level candidates welcome; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Foster an inclusive environment that respects each child’s social, cultural, and religious background while promoting mutual respect and tolerance.
• Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the centre’s curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods (songs, games, storytelling) to support quality learning.
• Monitor and document children’s holistic development, maintaining accurate records and preparing individual portfolios/reports.
• Manage classroom operations effectively, including maintaining a tidy, well-organised space and ensuring resources are properly labelled and accessible.
• Build strong relationships with parents and colleagues, while guiding and supporting assistant teachers and adhering to the centre’s policies and work schedules.
