in Jurong West is seeking passionate English Creative Writing Tutors to join our network, working with Primary to Secondary students and potentially Junior College to enhance composition and literary expression. You will deliver engaging one-on-one or small-group lessons, tailor lesson plans for PSLE, O-Levels or AEIS prep, and provide constructive feedback to help students find voice and structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field.
• NIE certification or teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in creative writing tutoring or English teaching.
• Strong command of grammar, literature, and creative expression.

We are seeking passionate and experienced English Creative Writing Tutors to join our network in Jurong West. Tutors will work with students ranging from Primary to Secondary levels (and potentially Junior College) to enhance their composition, creative writing and literary expression.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group lessons focusing on creative writing, composition, and English language proficiency.
• Customize lesson plans to meet individual student needs, including preparation for PSLE, O-Levels, or AEIS exams.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work, helping them develop voice, structure, and vocabulary.
• Utilize various teaching methods such as workshop-style feedback, mentor text analysis, and writing prompts.
• Able to work well with the centre coordinators and communicate promptly
• To commit at least for 12 months duration

Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; NIE certification or teaching experience is preferred.

• Experience: Proven experience in creative writing tutoring, English teaching, or content writing.

• Skills: Strong command of English grammar, literature, and creative expression; ability to inspire students and provide clear, actionable feedback.

• Logistics: Based in or near Jurong West
