Job summary

An education center in Singapore is seeking a motivated teacher to deliver engaging English and Science programs for Primary 1 to 6 students. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching experience, a relevant diploma, and a strong positive mindset. Successful applicants will be responsible for monitoring student progress, maintaining classroom standards, and fostering relationships with parents. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students.
  • Teaching qualification or experience in MOE schools or enrichment centers preferred.
  • Familiarity with the latest MOE Primary curriculum is essential.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement the program for the class
  • Able to teach English and / or Science - Primary 1 to Primary 6 or PSLE class
  • Conduct MindChamps unique enrichment programmes for English, and / or Science and align to latest MOE syllabus
    .
  • Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability
  • prepare Half-Yearly Progress Reports with actionable improvement plans
  • Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
  • Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to learners on their academic performance
  • Communicating learner progress and recommendations with Parents in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Being an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a champion (positive) mindset.
  • Ensure safety of children within the premises
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Director

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in any discipline with minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students.
  • Teaching qualification or experience in MOE schools, tuition centres, or enrichment centres preferred.
  • Familiarity with the latest MOE Primary curriculum is essential.
  • Possess good communication and classroom management skills.
