Job summary

Persol Outsourcing Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 1-year contract at Chin Bee Drive, Singapore. The role involves performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.

You will also be on-call for emergencies, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure accurate maintenance records while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Experience in machine troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Certified or experienced in operating scissor lifts.
• Certified in Work at Height or familiar with safe work practices at height.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance is an added advantage.
• Willing to support emergency breakdowns and ad hoc maintenance activities when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance activities according to the established master schedule.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting and replacement of faulty components.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and diagnose technical faults to restore equipment functionality.
• Provide on-call support for emergency repairs and urgent maintenance requirements when necessary.
• Coordinate and follow up with external vendors on equipment servicing and maintenance schedules.
• Update and maintain accurate maintenance records upon completion of service and repair activities.
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of spare parts, maintenance tools and equipment.
• Receive, inspect and verify delivered spare parts, tools and equipment against delivery documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties and provide support for ad hoc maintenance and operational requests as required.

• Location: Chin Bee Drive
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri (7.30m to 5pm)
• Salary Range: N7 grade
