Engineering department's Traineeship Description

This position reports to the Associate Project Engineer and will have a close interaction with Engineering Team, Site Leadership Team.

Engineering Team is the group of engineers and technicians whose primary role at R&D Singapore is to plan and execute maintenance and improvement activities at the R&D facility in Singapore as well as the Zone Nestle Quality Assurance Center.

This placement will allow the trainee to apply his sets of ACADrawing and organizational skills.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Utilize ACAD skills to draw and/or update building and facilities plan and actual set-up
  • Develop a system to organize and update site drawings.
  • Digitalization of records to make it available to stakeholders
  • Verification of as-built drawings with actual
  • Set up a notification process to alert stakeholders of any change incurred at site (trigger a change/update of existing drawings)

  • Knowledge on Building Code of Singapore as well as other government standards
Eligibility Criteria
  • Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Permanent Residents (PRs); and
  • are fresh graduates from universities (including private and overseas institutions), Polytechnics, and Institutes of Technical Education (ITEs), graduating in CY2024 and CY2025.
  • this includes male individuals who have completed National Service in CY2024 and CY2025.
