Job summary

A local engineering firm in Singapore seeks a maintenance technician to oversee the construction, operation, and maintenance of various systems.   • Provides work direction and participates in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, telecommunications equipment, scientific instrumentation, video surveillance systems, and other various systems.
  • Enforces safety policies and recommends changes to meet safety standards and laws.
  • Carry out repair and routine maintenance duties of all electrical equipment in building facilities and offices.
  • Install, inspect, maintain, replace or repair all mechanical equipment, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, hear recovery, fresh air supply and exhaust, rubbish bin, trolley, wheels and all mechanical fittings.
  • To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the service apartments.
  • Perform comprehensive maintenance for system and site supervision / hands on when required.
  • To monitor fire Alarm / Life Safety System systems as necessary, to be fully informed of the system operation, and to handle emergencies involving the systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and devise resolution when issues or faults arise.
  • Schedule and oversee regular inspections and contract service to ensure the working conditions of all equipment.
  • Manage an inventory record of parts and supplies, tools and equipment.
  • To observe, highlight and report any equipment, switchgears, or wiring which are not functioning properly and rectify them.
  • Supervise contractors on safety and work-related tasks.
  • Respond promptly and positively to all guest requests.
  • Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
  • Involved in ad-hoc projects or other duties as may be assigned by Company from time to time.
