Overview

Overview: The Engineering Technician is responsible for troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems and assembly steps according to engineering drawings, work instructions. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and in depth knowledge of our company existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and optical components into complete systems or sub-systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical fastening
  • Use hand tools, measurement devices, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively
  • Guide and train team of assembly technicians on company products
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs
  • Monitor production process, identity and report any quality deviations or malfunctions immediately
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
  • Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
  • Follow safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements
  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with company product assembly
  • 2+ years in electro-mechanical assembly or related field
  • Experience with tools, soldering, and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read technical documentation in English
  • High attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Able to see/identify small components on close-up, clearly
