• Analyze production issues and participate in improvement projects.
• Manage tools and materials inventory for uninterrupted production.

Overview

Engineering Specialist (Grinding Department) – Location: Jurong / Bedok • Department: 1st Grinding Department • Salary: $2,600 – $3,000 + Allowance • Working Hours (Shift Rotations): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM • Rest Days: 8 days off per month • Company: Leading Singapore-based micro and small ball bearings manufacturer

Job Responsibilities

• Assist daily production processes to ensure efficient operation and product quality
• Operate O/D (outer diameter) grinders and side grinders to maintain bearing size accuracy and surface finish
• Coordinate parts flow to meet grinding schedules on time
• Monitor equipment performance and support maintenance and repairs
• Supervise production to ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments
• Train and guide operators to improve skills and proper equipment usage
• Analyze production issues and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Manage tools and materials inventory to ensure uninterrupted production
• Act as a communication link between grinding, quality control, and maintenance departments
• Prepare audit documentation, maintain records, and provide administrative support
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to environmental and quality system improvements (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001)
• Attend department meetings and follow supervisor instructions for additional tasks

Requirements
