Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Engineering Project Coordinator to support our agricultural projects and operations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between engineering teams, field operations, and management, ensuring seamless execution of projects, timely reporting, and adherence to quality standards. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate engineering activities across multiple agricultural projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Liaise between field engineers, agronomists, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance, installation, and operational activities for agricultural equipment and infrastructure.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards on project sites.
- Support procurement and inventory management of engineering tools, machinery, and spare parts.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support for operational challenges.
- Coordinate travel schedules and logistics for engineering teams when visiting project sites.
- Evaluate project performance metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for engineering operations.
- Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation for engineering projects.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, equipment maintenance, and technical documentation.
- Facilitate training and technical guidance for field staff and junior engineers.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to integrate innovative agricultural technologies.
- Ensure effective communication between head office, field operations, and external partners.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and environmentally friendly engineering practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in Architecture or related industries.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel overseas frequently to project sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
