Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multiple agile teams responsible for a trusted digital lifestyle content and engagement platform serving Singapore Muslim citizens, delivered via web and mobile apps.

You will guide architectural direction, ensure secure, scalable software, and partner with product managers, designers, stakeholders, GovTech partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality digital services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• At least 5 years hands-on software development experience.
• At least 2 years leading, coaching, and developing engineers.
• Proven experience leading agile software teams delivering complex digital products.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• Establish processes, team structures, and agile delivery practices.
• Own technical direction, architecture and delivery of web/mobile platforms.
• Ensure security, reliability, accessibility and observability.
• Collaborate with product, design, governance and vendors to translate goals into scalable tech solutions.
• Drive cloud-native adoption, DevOps, headless CMS, search, analytics, and AI-assisted development.
• Lead design of resilient core utilities and engagement features for diverse users.
