Job summary

The Engineering Manager leads and oversees all engineering, technical, and design coordination activities at the project site in Changi Business Park. This role ensures that engineering deliverables are executed in alignment with project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and statutory requirements.

Acting as the primary technical interface, the role manages multidisciplinary coordination across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP works while mitigating technical risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, structural, or related engineering discipline.
• 12–15 years of relevant construction experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior engineering or managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees all engineering, technical, and design coordination activities at the project site.
• Ensures engineering deliverables align with schedule, budget, quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Acts as the primary technical interface between client, consultants, and site teams; coordinates across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP works.
• Reviews drawings, specifications, and method statements for compliance and constructability; manages RFIs, clarifications, design changes, and shop drawings approvals.
• Leads cross-disciplinary coordination; conducts regular engineering meetings to align with construction sequencing; utilizes BIM to minimize clashes and rework.
• Provides technical guidance to site teams; supports construction methodology planning; assists procurement in technical evaluations of subcontractors and vendors.
