What are my job responsibilities?
- Responsible for Signalling Engineering activities in a CBTC project for all the activities in the life cycle of the project
- Participates in meetings with customer, operator and other interfaced System Wide Contractors (SWC) to get accepted the design for all delivered sub-systems, e.g., ATC, ATS, Interlocking, Radio, Trackside and miscellaneous equipment, Cybersecurity
- Coordinates and interfaces with different stakeholders (Client, Operator, SWCs, Suppliers and Sub-contractors, Operation Specialist, Cybersecurity Consultant, Design Team in Spain and other countries, T&C Manager, Construction Manager, Commercial Project Manager, Project Manager…)
- Responsible for defining the Engineering resource plan and ensuring adherence to the project budget
- Conformity of activities with the defined processes, guidelines and project-specific requirements
- Compliance with deadlines and costs with respect to the activities in the project
- Ensures the accomplishment of Project Milestones
- Daily Coordination with the team in Spain and other countries for the deliveries required by the Project
- Coordination with the project stakeholders for the definition of the external interfaces
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- At least a Bachelor degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering or equivalent
- At least 8 years working experience in Design and/or T&C on Signaling Systems/CTBC
- At least 6 years working experience in project coordination / planning / team management
- Flexible working hours and schedule (example: night or weekend)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Capacity and experience to work in multicultural environment
- Strong Knowledge on System Development Life Cycle and Configuration Management
- Knowledge in computer science and electricity
- Capacity to schedule activities and follow up
- Fluent in English and capacity to write technical documentation in English
- Capacity to analyze and have a system point of view
- Capacity to summarize and send clear reporting
- Experience in system integration, Software and/or Hardware would be appreciated
- Work Package Management experience would be appreciated
- Knowledge of Siemens technologies would be appreciated
