Job summary

A leading offshore engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced engineering lead for topsides design on FPSO/FLNG projects. This role demands a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and over 15 years of oil and gas experience, including at least 7 years with a top-tier contractor. The successful candidate will lead design efforts, manage cross-discipline reviews, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Strong leadership, communication skills, and fluency in English are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in oil & gas.
• Minimum of 7 years at top-tier FPSO/EPC contractor.
• Experience with at least 2 FPSO EPCI projects from engineering to sail-away.

• Define scope, schedules, and manpower plans; control progress, man-hours, and design changes.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design reviews, manage interfaces, and secure regulatory/class approvals.
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning; ensure proper project close-out with as-built documentation.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation preferred) with 15+ years oil & gas experience.
• Minimum 7 years at top-tier FPSO/EPC contractor and 2 FPSO EPCI projects from engineering to sail-away.
• Hands‑on discipline and field engineering experience; strong knowledge of codes, standards, and FPSO/EPC practices.
• Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills; fluent in English and familiar with engineering platforms
