An Amazing Career Opportunity for Engineering Manager

Profile Summary:

As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee new technology delivery, maintenance, and the future engineering roadmap for multiple sets of features / product areas. The Scrum Master, Engineering Manager role will partner closely with the Engineering and Product leadership teams for developing cutting edge solutions.

Manage the daily tasks of guiding a Scrum team. Interact directly with Stakeholders to understand Business and Functional requirements. Facilitate dissemination of requirements and acceptance criteria to the engineering team. Hold the appropriate Scrum/Agile meetings (backlog pruning, planning meetings, post-mortems, stand ups, etc.).

Roles & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Build highly talented, top-performing, efficient, autonomous engineering teams
  • Set performance goals/objectives working along with the team members
  • Evaluating performance, including team input. Providing input, guidance, and corrective actions.
  • Plan training and other skills development for the team
  • Be the first level of escalation point for any delivery related issues across programs that he/she is assigned
  • Lead and coordinate design & code reviews across teams
  • Maintain Quality Focus & reporting engineering metrics
  • Participate in Retrospective workshops, PI planning, System Demo, and Solution Demo
  • Listen to and support teams for problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making
  • Track key performance metrics at the team level through Jira
  • Drive tactical team-level improvement for Scrum processes
  • Coordinate with product leads to drive alignment on sprint priorities
  • Drive improvements in release quality
  • Able to identify, coach and mentor team members to become servant leaders of Agile programs and self-directed teams
Technical Requirements:
  • 12+ years of industry experience and 4+ years of experience in Agile Project Management
  • Ability to manage technical projects from conception to completion
  • Should have experience with release coordination & project administration tasks
  • Experience using Agile PM software (Jira, Confluence, etc)

Experience and/or Education Qualification:

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of overall experience in Application/Solution Development domain
  • 5+ years of experience as Scrum Master
  • 8+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
  • Experience with full product lifecycle
  • Experience with Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
